Leading industry sources say that with this huge amount, SRK surely becomes the top paid tinsel town hero to host a TV show. Bollywood greats like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan himself have hosted many shows, and the amount that they get for each episode was a matter of great debate and speculation, until now. However, the figures now favour Shah Rukh Khan’s side.
A source from the show reveals, “No one will speak openly about how much he is earning, but SRK charging Rs.2.5 crore certainly seems a believable figures. As of now what can we reveal is that Shahrukh Khan is for four weeks, Monday to Thursday, and if calculate it, he is getting Rs.40 crore for 16 episodes. Bring on the superstar who can charge so much even after his last stint on TV (Kya Hum Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain) was panned and did not get the TRP that he got during Kaun Banega Crorepati.”
