Old foes Harbhajan and Symonds in same team

It’s going to be the main eye-catcher of IPL-4 when not-so-best friends Andrew Symmonds and Harbhajan Singh walk arm-in-arm in Mumbai Indians’ colours.
They are known to be the mischief mongers of cricketing world and no one can forget their ‘monkeygate’ controversy. And on Saturday, last year’s IPL runners-up bought Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds for $ 850,000 to share the dressing room with Harbhajan Singh.
Symonds and Harbhajan have been involved in on-field spats and controversies and just love to hate each other after the Australian accused the Indian off-spinner of racial abuse by calling him ‘monkey’ in the controversial Sydney Test in 2007-08.
Harbhajan, who often gets himself into trouble on and off the field, was also in the middle of the ‘slapgate’ incident when he allegedly slapped Indian teammate S Sreesanth when Mumbai Indians lost to Kings XI Punjab in IPL-1.
On the other hand, Symonds is no different from his old foe and future teammate, getting in trouble due to his careless attitude off the field, for which he has been reprimanded by Cricket Australia on a number of occasions.
Mumbai Indians’ skipper Sachin Tendulkar surely has some extra work on his table now as he will need to keep two mischief mongers in check in his team.
It will be one of the best sights in IPL-4 when the duo congratulates each other after a wicket or victory. Cameras will surely focus on these two when they take field every time they play for Mumbai Indians.
For sure Harbhajan and Symonds will make IPL more entertaining with their love-hate relationship.
